We have partnered with Tech4Kids, the pioneer in Lego Mindstorm Education & other technology-based program here in the Philippines to bring great news to the Kids Ahoy proactive community. Open to all techie kids, engineers-wannabes and most especially to Quezon City-based learners who have been clamoring for such programs to be held close to home! Starting Aug 8, 2009, 10-12pm, the first of a series of technology-based programs will be offered.

LEGO ROBOTICS WORKSHOPS

Learn about the latest educational tool being used in top US universities and High Schools! These team-based workshops allow the participant to build, program and run their own robots using Lego Mindstorms for Schools™. Challenge yourself by creating robots that does your every whim. Create robots that respond to light or motion, navigate through a maze and even challenge another robot! The only limit is your imagination!

NXT Robo Mechanic
Beginners
Starts AUG 8, 2009, 7-16yrs old
Tuesdays 4 sessions, 2hrs ea, 4-6pm (TOTAL OF 8 PLAYSHOP HOURS)
WORKSHOP FEE: P3000/STUDENT
Requirement: Pls bring own laptop. Other equipment/gadgets provided by facilitators.
Minimum Class size: 10 students
